I am Mahroof K — an AI & Digital Product Leader, Program & Transformation Specialist, and ex-founder who has spent 12 years building, scaling, and delivering technology products that matter.
My journey began in 2013 when I founded Cedex Technologies, a custom software and AI company in Kochi. Over nine years, I grew it from a two-person operation to a 25-member organisation generating over 85% of its revenue from the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia. In late 2022, Cedex was acquired by Centelon Solutions, an Australian-headquartered enterprise software company.
What makes my profile unusual is the combination of founder instincts, technical depth, and enterprise delivery rigor. I have held every role in a product company: full-stack developer, product owner, program manager, pre-sales lead, and CEO. I understand why technical decisions get made, how teams get blocked, what clients actually need versus what they say they need, and how to align all of it to business outcomes.
I started building conversational AI products in 2016 before the term "GenAI" existed. Our Sony MAX Filmykaant chatbot served 2 million+ unique users with peak throughput of 1 million conversations per day. It was recognised globally as a Facebook Top 10 Chatbot and selected for the FBStart program. We built it on a custom Hinglish (Hindi-in-English) NLP model that we created from scratch because no off-the-shelf solution existed.
Most recently, I led end-to-end product delivery at Pillion Intelligence, an enterprise GenAI conversational platform. I recruited and built the full cross-functional team from the ground up, architected a scalable multi-model LLM pipeline using OpenRouter, and took the product from requirements definition to production-ready MVP on schedule with 100% sprint delivery consistency.
I hold a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) from the College of Engineering Trivandrum (Kerala's first and top-ranked engineering college) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IGNOU, backed by both PMP® and Google Project Management certifications.

Built one of India's first dedicated Conversational AI practices.Delivered chatbots and voicebots for Sony MAX, Gillette, Orange Telecom, Fevicol, Adani Power, and GBM across IBM Watson, Dialogflow, Rasa, Alexa, and Google Actions.

Delivered India's highest- traffic entertainment chatbot — 2M + unique users, 1M + daily conversations.Built a custom Hinglish NLP / NLU model from scratch. Recognised as Facebook Top 10 Chatbot globally.
Acquisition by Centelon Solutions
Cedex Technologies acquired by Australian-headquartered enterprise software company. Retained to lead program delivery across an expanded global client portfolio.
